Machine Learning Predictive Maintenance for Aircraft
Ailantic won a research contract as part of a team to demonstrate the application of machine learning for predictive maintenance on Naval Aircraft. Predictive maintenance will revolutionize aviation maintenance by decreasing the down time for aircraft and detecting maintenance requirements prior to traditional approaches. This work includes the detection of anomalies and previously unknown precursors to problems.
Space Safety and Surveillance with Artificial Intelligence
Ailantic is creating new AI approaches to solve complex space problems. Neural Nets, Fuzzy Logic, Probabilistic reasoning and other approaches are offering valuable new approaches, tools and insight into the Earth’s valuable orbital resources. Research in this area includes new AI algorithms for formation and proximity collision risk analysis.
AI to Improve Customer Experience and Increase Business
Ailantic is researching innovative AI and Data Science to business intelligence and improving the customer experience. Data driven algorithms and customer knowledge come together in new business approaches that can decrease line and increase profit.
Natural Language Processing
Ailantic is working on an advanced stage research project that incorporates free-form text with deep learning neural networks. The innovative integration of natural language processing on sparse, terse field-level expert notations into a machine learning system is providing greater insight and accurate recommendations. A key part of this effort is the improvement in understanding AI. The application for this approach could include any type of text data such as medical records, log files or social media.
Business Intelligence
Ailantic works with companies to analyze sales and marketing data to find patterns, market segments, trends and other insight. The process involves close involvement with the customer to learn methods and discover important new perspectives on the market. Recent work developing probabilistic methods in this area has been put into operation to improve customer engagements.
Causal Inference
Ailantic is applying emerging methods in statistical analyses developed in marketing domains into operational research and areas that are difficult to measure cause and effect. Correlation does sometimes mean causation - Ailantic is working to quantify this in meaningful ways.
